Dr. Johnson is the president, founder and a principal of Johnson Investment Counsel, Inc.  He is a member of the Fixed Income Strategy Team and the Quantitative Equity Team.  He is professor of Finance at the University of Cincinnati and has authored three textbooks, written numerous journal articles on finance and has spoken at many seminars around the country.  

Tim earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from North Park University, a MBA in Finance from Akron University and a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Illinois. Tim is also an active member of numerous professional and civic organizations in the Greater Cincinnati community.  Tim and his wife, Janet, live in College Hill.
